Three guys that were visiting the SF Zoo on Christmas day were attacked by a 300+lb tiger. One, a 17 year old from San Jose was killed.
Police found a shoe in the tigers moat, raising the question, if maybe one of the victims was taunting the tiger. They are saying that they think that maybe one had climbed the cage, and stuck his leg over, and taunted the tiger.
Now, i dont want to say "that's what you get", but what else do you expect a wild animal to do? Its just like any human that is being taunted...they will probably throw a punch. Attacking is a wild animals punch. Either way, its not a good situation. And i cant even imagine being attacked by any kind of animal, let alone a 300lb tiger!
The picture above is the tiger, here name was Tatiana, and she was 4 years old. She had been at SF Zoo since 2005, and in that time, has attacked a trainer, mangling her arm. The tiger was shot and killed on Christmas Day. Even though she was attacking, and killed a person, I still feel sad that the tiger was killed.
