Britney Spears Hospitalized...Again!

Man, this girl is a big big mess! Someone needs to do something about her...and quick!

She went to the psychiatric department at the UCLA hospital. If she went willingly or not is unknown, but they are saying that she did go willingly. I hope she allows herself to get help.

The saddest part of all this is that she has 2 young sons that need their Mommy, and that doesnt even seem to matter to her.

Still...

SORE AS HELL!!! =(

Slept very uncomfortable last night, and now my arms are more sore then they were yesterday, but my legs are the same...no better,no worse. No gym today, but I have to be better by Saturday! I'll go then!

Could This Be It??

The Natalee Halloway case has been re-opened. A Dutch reporter has claimed to have cracked the case. He did a private investigation, and claims that he has evidence that will end the case. So after being officially closed, it is now re-opened.

I hope this is it! And those 3 guys finally get caught, because we all know that they have something to do with it!

Little By Little...

They are all dropping out!

Senator John Edwards has dropped out today! He has probably come to terms that although he is highly liked, he will probably never win. This leaves his supporters up for grabs, and it will be interesting to see how many go which way...to Obama or Clinton??

Who will Edwards endorse?? Hmmm....I dont know...but I think that will make the big difference in which way his supporters go. So lets just hope its Hillary!!

Guiliani Out of the Race

He is out of the Republican race for the White House. He was never ahead in any of the polls, and he hasnt won any states either. This kinda surprises me, because I THOUGHT he was popular among Republicans, but that just goes to show how much I know about Republicans...or actually...how much I care. I really dont. I dont really keep track of that side of things, but from what I've heard. John McCain is looking pretty good. So now I guess its really between McCain and Romney. Wouldnt want to see neither in the White house though!

The Aftermath

So we went to work out last night. We had a free session with a personal trainer. Man did I get my butt kicked! I mean its been sooooo long that I have done any kind of workout...probaly since softball in High School. So going from nothing to working out every part of my body has made me so so so SORE! It feels like my legs are two stiff sticks. Im paying the price today, but it felt good that i was able to go through with the whole workout. I just hope im not so sore by Thursday, so I can go workout again...on my own this time. Maybe at a slower pace or something.

Im hoping the being sore part will fade away after awhile!!

One Step At A Time....

So I feel it is time to turnover a new leaf. With saying that, yesterday I went and signed up for the gym. (Bally Total Fitness). I have always told myself, "I'll sign up soon", but I never did. But finally I did. I have been trying to eat healthy the past month or so, the hardest thing about that is that the food is expensive. All the healthy stuff at the grocery store is the most expensive stuff...most of the time. But I do what I can. Hopefully I stick with this, and be consistent. I think something that will help is that I have people to go with. Sharah signed up with me, and our other friend Marie already has a membership, but just never uses it, but now we will all go together, and push each other.

We meet with a personal trainer tonight at 8!

So wish me luck on this new endeavor!

Ted kennedy Endorses Obama

This just didnt happen today, but Ted Kennedy along with JFK's daughter Caroline Kennedy has endorsed Barack Obama. Now we all know that the Kennedy's are very very popular Democrats. Seeing that JFK was possibly one of the best Democratic Presidents that we've ever had. But Ted Kennedy and Hillary have worked with eachother for a long time, and are said to be close friends. So this was probably a surprise to Hillary. But, it's ok...Hillary will be alright!

Finally!

Bush gave his last State of the Union address last night! I have yet to see it, I was out when it aired, but i recorded it, and I'll probably watch it after work today. I am just happy and relieved that its his last! Soon we will be voting for the person that will take his place, and hopefully that person can clean up the mess he made!

The Winner

Barack Obama won in South Carolina.

Yeah, it kinda bums me out, but I still have lots of hope especially with Super Tuesday next week!! I really cant wait!! Im sure Hillary can pull Feb. 5th off!

Congrats to Obama, but.........does it matter if more then half of the voters were African American in South Carolina? Hmmmmm......

Happy Birthday Grandpa Ramon!

Today my Grandpa turns 70!

That's pretty young, compared to a lot of other grandparents, but considering my Grandpa's health....I am so glad that he has made it to see 70!

Maybe about 10 years or so ago, we were supposed to lose my Grandpa to cancer (which he still has). I have said "goodbye" to him maybe 2 times. But he has made it this long. Like he says whenever i talk to him..."I'm still hanging around."

I called him this morning, to tell him Happy Birthday, and like always, on his birthday, he says that my Grandma is older then him(she's 2 years younger), and when I asked him how old he turned, he said 50. Ha ha! Never have I got a serious answer the first time out of him about his age.

I sent him and my Grandma some recent pictures of me, and my family. I did that because last time I talked to my Grandma, she said that the most recent picture of me she had was my Senior picture from High School. That was...almost 6 years ago! Dang Im old! Anyways, so the first thing my Grandpa told me when I talked to him this morning was..."I got the pictures you sent, and it is the best present that I have gotten in a really long time." Im really glad that he felt that way. To think that some pictures could make him that happy. Also, my Grandma Concha said that he had been not feeling good this past week, and that when he got those pictures, she noticed how happy it made him, and it made him forget that he wasnt feeling good.

So, when me and my Grandpa talk, we talk politics. I love that I can talk politics with him. As a matter of fact, I think that is where I get my interest in politics from...from him. As long as I can remember, he talks about politics, but no one would really like talking it with him, because it was his way or no way...and he would argue and argue with you, if you were against him with his politics. But surprisingly...we have great conversations, we have a lot of the same views. He hates Bush just as much as i do, and he wants Hillary to win just as much as I do! I'll never forget, I think it was the last time I talked to them, which was probably a few months ago, he asked me what I wanted to do in politics, and i told him...I wanted to be the President of the United States...what else! He laughed, and said I'll be the second woman President after Hillary. And then I said, but really, I wanna end up in Washington DC, or working at the White house one day, and he said, "You will mija, I know you will." I remember feeling like...yeah...I will. Just like when Fabien told me that he told his class that one day his aunt will work in the White House, or who knows, maybe become President. Stuff like that inspires me, and makes me really want to go for my goals. The only thing that saddens me, is that, yeah, maybe one day I do end up in DC...it will probably be a long while from now, and my Grandpa might not be around to see that I did make it.

Anyways, I thank God for having my Grandpa Ramon another year, when he was supposed to leave us a long time ago. And i hope God keeps him here with us for more years to come!

South Carolina Primaries Today!

They are saying that the majority of voters in South Carolina will be African American. Is this gonna mean that Barack Obama will win SC? I hope that the voters dont base it just on race.

It may seem like I am going just on gender, and I want Hillary to win just because shes a woman. That is not it all. I like what she says, and I like her plan for our country. At the beginning of this race, I was just as much on Obama's side as I was on Hillary's, but after watching the debates and following the race, Hillary is who I agreed with more. And it just so happens that she is a woman.

Im rooting for you today Hillary!!!! Lets win South Carolina!!

Sad News...

Heath Ledger is dead at age 28. This is so sad. Right now in the news its saying that the masseuse and the housekeeper found him dead in his room. Apparantely he had pneumonia, and and mixed whatever he was taking, with sleeping pills. It was an accidental overdose they are saying. Either way, it is still very sad.

Aside from being hot, he was a good actor. I like him best for his first film that he did in the US. 10 Things I Hate About You. If you dont know who he is, he was one of the gay cowboys in Brokeback Mountain. That's how my mom knew who he was.

I feel sad for his 2 year old little daughter. And for the rest of his family. I think his death will really take a toll on Hollywood.

Watch This...

To lighten things up from the last video...This is hilarious!!

Watch This

I missed this yesterday, but it looks like it was pretty heated!

I hate how John Edwards makes it seem that he doesnt take part of the "squabbling". If you caught any of the earlier debates, he was right in there with them. And he also joins Barack, with ganging up on Hillary.

Happy Birthday Sister!

Today Vita is one year from 30!!! You do the math!!!

Dang 30! I love giving her a hard time! But giving my mom an even harder time, for having a daughter that is almost 30!

Next year is the big one sis! =)

My mom is in town to visit me! She got here today. We went to the casino tonight, and we drove across the Coronado Bridge, and then we went to Harbor Island to see the San Diego Skyline at night. It was cold...but such a pretty sight!!

Tomorrow...Sorry Mama...gotta watch the Chargers kick some ass!!!! I HOPE!!!! Then another casino. She's leaving Monday. Which is too soon...I like having my mom around...especially when my gas tank is running low...JUST KIDDING!! But hey, its the only time I get to get spoiled, it's not everyday that Im around my mama.

Another State For Hillary!!

Hillary was the winner in the Nevada Caucuses!! Im so happy!! This time the margin wasn't as close as it was in New Hampshire. It was 52% to 35% for Obama. Go Hillary!!!

Whooooo Hooooo!!

The Super Chargers pulled it off again!!! They were the underdogs, going up against the Colts. The Colts and Peyton Manning were supposed to have that game in the bag. But....NOPE!!!

And they did it without LT, Phillip Rivers, or Antonio Gates playing the whole game! The defense and the back ups did their thing!

So now they go up against the undefeated-history making New England Patriots. They are for sure the underdogs once again. Im really hoping and praying that they pull off this win next Sunday! If they do, it means......SUPER BOWL!!!!

Pictures of My Saturday (January 12, 2008)

I forgot to mention the best part of the night! We were passing right by Disneyland at exactly 9:30pm, and we got to see the famous Disneyland fireworks show. It was really really awesome! That was the best part of the whole night! I wouldnt say day...the best part of my whole day yesterday, was meeting and holding Baby Hailey. =)
----------------------------------------------------------------

PIC#1 = Me holding Baby Hailey At Hannah and Chris' house in Torrance
PIC#2 = Hollywood
PIC#3 = Weirdos on Hollywood Boulevard
PIC#4 = Disneyland Fireworks
PIC#5 = More fireworks by the Disneyland exit
--------------------------------------------------

Another thing I forgot to mention was that when I got online this morning, to read the headlines in the news, this is the first thing I saw CLICK HERE!!

What A Night I Had!!

So yesterday we went to LA. Hannah's baby is ADORABLE!!

Then we went to Hollywood. Our friends were staying at Renaissance Hotel, that is connected to the Hollywood Mall, and right on the Walk Of Fame. So me and Sharah were walking around the mall, and on Hollywood Blvd, there is sooooo much stuff going on there...people breakdancing, people freestyle rapping, homeless people, people dressed up as Elmo, Batman, Transformers, Star Wars guys....all sorts of stuff! But then we se this guy dressed up as Mike Meyers from Halloween...he had a knife and everything. He was going up to the cars driving by, and trying the open the doors, and banging on the windows, and just scaring people. It worked for me, because I wanted to get out of there after I saw that!

Then.....the worst/biggest/craziest thing happened...well me ans Sharah were trying to figure out where to eat and we were just going to leave the mall, but we stopped and looked at a menu to a restaurant that was displayed out side, right by the escalators. So we were looking, and then all of a sudden we hear screams and yelling, and "Oh My Gods!" and people in panic, at the escalators, the first thing that came to my head was..."Oh shoot! Someone is open firing!" Then I started panicking, because I had no idea where our car was, or how to get out of the mall area, because it was unfamiliar territory to me. But that wasnt it. I see everyone looking over the banister to the bottom, so I go and look, and I see a guy laying there, with blood all over his face, and what looked like his brains splattered everywhere. It was not a pretty sight at all. The only reason I kept looking was because I wanted to see if he was alive. He wasnt moving at all, and they kept pumping his chest, and checking for his pulse, but nothing. The ambulance finally came, and they dragged him out of view, so I couldnt see what was going on anymore. We didnt know what really happened though. So many stories were going around right away. 1.) He was running up the down escalator, and fell. 2.) Someone pushed him. 3.) He jumped. No one really knew though. So after that, We decided to leave, because it want fun, it more scary being there then anything.

So we get on the 101 South, and the first thing we see is a chopper flying low, shining the spot light on the side of the freeway, and on the freeway...we got a spotlight shined on us!! I had such a bad vibe being there in Hollywood, and had it till we got to like Irvine. Then we hit really bad fog getting into San Diego. Then lastly, we were like 10 minutes away from home, and we see 6 CHP's going the opposite direction with their lights on going really fast.

So who knows what was going on last night, but it was a very weird, creepy, crazy night. I dont think I ever want to be on Hollywood Blvd. at night ever again!

On My Way To L.A.

I am on my way to Los Angeles right now. I am on my phone, thats why I am able to do this. Me and Sharah are going to LA to see her cousin Hannah's new baby....Hailey. She is a little over a month old, but we havent seen her yet. Cant wait to finally meet her though.

After we visit them, then we are gonna meet up with some friends in Hollywood. From there, who knows what we are gonna do. Go celebrity hunting maybe? Go to wherever there's paparazzi. We'll see.

Tomorrow is the big Chargers game! They are playing the Colts....oh know!...i know. But hey, I believe in them!

Some More Hillary...

Here is what Hillary had to say after her victory in New Hampshire. Check it out!

Tuesday, January 8, 2008

YAY!!!!!

She did it!! She pulled it off in New Hampshire!

I am very very happy!!!

Man O Man!!

As of right now, Clinton is at 39% and Obama is at 36%, in New Hampshire.

This is too close for me!!!!

Go Hillary Go!!!!!!!

The Sad Truth...

Hillary isn't looking so good In the New Hampshire Primaries.

There's rumors of her pulling out of the race. I hope its not true. Even if she doesnt make it, I still like her, and support her. For now im keeping my fingers crossed.

Sunday, January 6, 2008

They Finally Realized...

Democratic presidential candidates Cris Dodd and Joe Biden have dropped out of the race.

I guess they both realized that there was no hope for them to win. Sad to say, but very true. Everyone knows who the top candidates are....Clinton, Obama and Edwards.

Britney Spears Hospitalized

The police were called tonite (Jan. 3), after she wouldn't give her kids over to Kevin Federline's bodyguard, the police were calling it a stand off, and hostage. They took her to a hospital, after she surrendered the kids, and they found that she was heavily under the influece of an unknown substance.

Ok, it's like I try to feel sorry for this girl, because I have NO idea what it is like to be in her shoes, with all the madness of the paparazzi and the media, and all that stuff, but I just cant feel sorry for her so much anymore, because she shows no ways of improving, or trying to stay out of the spotlight. I mean, she is BRITNEY SPEARS...she can pay people to go get her Starbucks, or cigarettes, or anything! But i think she is addicted to the attention...along with many other things. I read celebrity news and gossip everyday on the internet, and there is not one day the she was not photographed out doing something odd.

I dont know...I just know that having fame and money, cant buy you happiness. I hope she snaps out of her madness soon! For the sake of her poor sons!

It's Heading Our Way!

There is a storm that is supposed to hit California, and I think it has already started. I think its gonna go from North to South, because my mom is up North, and she said that it has already started raining there. It hasn't started here in San Diego yet, but they say on the news that its supposed to hit us on Saturday morning.

A Rough Start...But Only The Beginning!

Unfortunately Hillary Clinton didnt come out on top this time. Today (Jan.3) was the Iowa primary elections. For the Democrats, Barack Obama got the victory, and John Edwards was second, and Clinton in third. That makes me so sad. As if it matters, for the Republicans, Mike Huckabee had the victory.

Iowa is the first state to vote in presidential elections, that is why they get so much attention during this time.

A big reason this upsets me, is because it usually ends up, that whoever wins the Iowa election, wins the whole thing. I really hope this isnt true in this case!!

C'mon Hillary...Im rooting for you!!

It's 2008!!!

I cant believe that it is the year 2008!

I remember when when the world was worried about Y2K. Remember that?? Our world was supposed to end in the year 2000! But here we are almost 10 years into the year 2000!

I have many New Year's Resolutions, but just like every other year, good luck to me sticking to them!!

I had a Blast on New Year's Eve. I spent it with some good friends from Greenfield. Maybe had a little too much to drink, but it was New Years!! =)
