It's been awhile, but I am STILL kind of recovering from Hawaii. Even though its been a week since I have been back. It has been hard to get back in the swing of reading the news, and all that again. Maybe because for that whole week, I didn't know of any really bad news (except for the airline fiasco's) and it kind of takes your worries away when you dont know what's going on in the world, and you're in a beautiful place like Hawaii. Now...I am back home...although San Diego is a beautiful place as well, its my real world, so starting tomorrow, I am back to my old self, keeping up with the elections, reading the bad news, the good news, the weird news.
It has been extremely hot this weekend in San Diego. Right now at 8pm it is 80 degrees, we are all crammed in the family room where we have a little air conditioning unit...its the coolest room in the house. I predict an uncomfortable sleep tonight, because of the heat...ugh!
Well I better go put my clothes in the dryer! Its laundry day! Well most likely I will put someone's clothes ON TOP of the dryer first so I can put mine IN the dryer! Never fails...there is always clothes in the dryer at this house! Im very guilty of it too! =)
Hope you had a good weekend!

Hanauma Bay

This is where I was at all day today. This place is sooooo beautiful! Its Hanauma Nature Preserve, which means that there is no fishing, and it has not been tampered with. Because of that, all the marine life are under there for you to see.
I went snorkeling for the first time in my life! It was really really fun, and a wonderful experience! I saw all kinds of different fish, big ones, little ones, colorful ones, it was amazing!
We tried it when we first got there, but it was really hard to start. The flippers were hard to be in, because you cant really walk in them, or control yourself, also getting the breathing right was a bit tough too, because you have to breathe through your mouth and not through your nose or else you will fog up your goggles or drink salt water. So thinking we would never get the hang of it, us girls got out, and just sunbathed. When the guys decided to join us, they of course went in there right away. I was jealous, because although I was scared, I still wanted to see all the stuff under there. So the guys kind of helped us get started, and I was the first to get it down, and off I went to explore the ocean! =)
I had a really good time! Probably the best time I have had this whole time!
Our vacation is ending soon! I dont want to go back to the real world, but I guess I have to!
Aloha!

Aloha!
As some of you know, I am on vacation in Honolulu, Hawaii! It has been lots of fun! We just ended our 4th day here! We are staying right in the heart of Waikiki.
Today we went to the Pearl Harbor Memorial, thats where this picture of me on the bottom was taken. I am getting dark as you can see! Pearl Harbor was very interesting! It was so sad! You go out on this boat to where the actual USS Arizona is sunk under the water. Very sad!
Last night we went to our Lua'u, and that was the best! Very very fun, and great food...and drinks! =) The top picture is me at the Lua'u.
Tomorrow we are goingto Huanama Bay to go snorkeling, and be beach bums all day, and keep working on our tans...like I need to get any darker!
We have 3 more days here, and we are leaving on Saturday. I would really love to live here in Hawaii...but people say that living on an island is not all that fun. But I don't know...everything is SO casual, and slow pace as opposed to San Diego, where everyone is in a hurry, and always dressed up! I mean their speed limit on the freeway is 45 or 55mph!! No one honks at you, or is tailgating you. So so different!
Well just wanted to tell you all that im having a great vacation, and experiencing, and seeing things that I have never seen in my life! And drinking lots of Mai Tai''s and Blue Hawaiian's! =)
Aloha for now! =)
