My Weekend

This weekend, I went back home to Nothern Cali. I arrived on Thursday, and then on Friday morning, we got up and got ready, and went to my cousin Felix's high school graduation from Righetti High in Santa Maria. It was really nice to see family that I havent seen in a very very long time. I hadn't seen my cousin Sonia, or my Tia Olivia since maybe 2002. And I hadnt seen my little cousins Felix and Reyna for even longer then that, and my have they grown up! They are both so big, both taller then me, as you can see in the picture above. But it felt good to be around people that have the same blood as I do, and that have similar features as i do. I never am around anyone that looks like me, except for the times when I go back home.

We went back to Greenfield on Friday afternoon, and we just hung out at my mom's, and John bbq'd some burgers. Then Saturday we got up and headed to Marina for Miranda's All Star softball game. Then Fabien had a game, but he isnt playing right now, because his ankle is still healing. Hopefully he can play in his upcoming tournament, but I really dont think so, because he is still limping a lot. I dont think he is able to run on it. I love watching him play ball though. And as he gets older, its even better. I love watching Miranda play too, but only when she's up to bat, because she almost always gets a hit and scores a run. When she's out on the field, its a little different, just because she's still young, and it is very apparent when she gets bored of standing out there. Then Saturday night, the whole family went to see the movie You Don't Mess With The Zohan. Thats a funny freakin movie!! Go watch it if you havent already!

I stayed in Marina on Saturday night with my sister and the babies, because I was flying out early in the morning from Monterey on Sunday, and Marina is closer then Greenfield. So I said my goodbye's to Mom and John on Satuday night, and then to everyone else on Sunday morning, and off I went.

Sherie and Jay picked me up from the airport, we went to eat lunch, I came home and was so tired that i felt sick. I tried to sleep, and i did here and there, but not straight.

This weekend was pretty exhausting, I dont know how the rest of my family does it every weekend with activities going on all the time. And I especially dont know how my mom and John do it, with being on the older side you know...LOVE YOU MOM! =)

It amazes me that the younger generation seems to get tired lots more easily than us "old" people!
